Cedar Marie Everline

Our red roof house now has one more.  She made it out late Friday night after a long day of labor and when she finally arrived she was beautiful and perfect in every way.  She weighed 4 lbs 14 oz - so she was a wee-one, but I don't think I'd want a baby any other way.  For those that play the lottery here is a weird coincidence - Cedar was born at exactly 10:22 Friday night, that's 22:22 in "official" hospital time and she weighed exactly 22.22 grams.  All the nurse were ready to run out of the room and buy power ball tickets.  Thankfully none did and our baby got all cleaned up and handed off within a manner of minutes.

We made it home Sunday afternoon and have been adjusting since.  The blog would have been updated sooner, except momma is perpetually sleep-deprived  and I've never actually messed with the blog - didn't even have the username or password.  Erin managed to mumble them to me last night before crashing into bed and it's taken me the better part of today (between sleeping and changing diapers) to get this up.  We are all home and healthy and hope this post finds you well.  Enjoy the pics and I promise once I've got this father (& blog) thing figured out - I'll update with more.

And just in case you figured nothing has been cookin with the house - you'd be wrong.  No pics to prove it yet, but they're coming soon.

This is how they got the party started Friday morning - contractions in a bag, good times.

Both grandmothers, Erin, & Cedar

Back home after 2 days at the hospital

Fiona was very excited to meet her new cousin

Willow wanted to know what all the fuss was about - other than checking things out when Cedar cries (which so far is pretty infrequent) Willow doesn't seem to mind sharing the house.

Here's one final pic for the posting - our little girl, finally here!

Hey Guys! Congratulations! She is gorgeous! I am so glad you decided to stick with the name Cedar. I love it-so perfect. I had Megan keep me updated this past weekend and was so happy to hear the good news. Let Erin know that I will be calling her soon (after things settle down a bit) I want to hear all about the labor and delivery. Sending my love to all three of you!
