One week old

Hello out there (it's Erin this time). Thanks for all the well wishes! I'm slowly reconnecting with life and each day is getting better and better. I started off the week a bit rough. My blood pressure continued to climb once I left the hospital and I developed atypical preeclampsia. Ugh! We were optimistic that my blood pressure would go back to normal the minute Cedar arrived, but that certainly wasn't the case. Two nights ago I was admitted to the hospital with dangerous readings and one of the most intense headaches that I've ever experienced. They started me on BP medicine and I'll be monitored to make sure I have the right dosage. It was so hard being away from Cedar for the night but she was in good hands with her daddy. We quickly learned how to use a breast pump and shuttled milk to and from the hospital.

So enough about me, Cedar is doing wonderful. She's eating and sleeping great and is starting to put on weight. She makes us so happy with her little peeps and stretches. We can't take our eyes off of her. Here are some more photos…
