Ole' Willard

Like our new chandelier? Just kidding. We took a trip to DC last Friday night to visit Steph who was in town for work. She was staying at the Willard (ooo-la-la!) and was kind enough to let us crash in her room for the night. We hit the town and went to dinner at a vegetarian restaurant called Vegetate. Isn't that a great name? We're all about supporting a vegetarian restaurant, but sorry Vegetate, your food was a bit bland and your green beans tasted like smelly sneakers....aka Sneaker beans! After dinner, we hopped into a fume-filled cab and went to a place called Bourbon. Todd and I shied away from the bourbon, but Steph was all about it. I guess it was good though, by the end of the evening she was jumping on the bed at the Willard. On Saturday we said good-bye to Steph and took a stroll around the mall. I got a little trigger happy at the Botanical Garden....so many orchids, so little time! Check out the size of this Norfolk Island Pine...
