Unison Pottery & Tile Works

Saturday afternoon we took a trip over to Joan Gardiner's pottery studio in Unison, VA. We took backcountry roads (yes, they do still exist in Loudoun County) which always makes for an adventure, especially when you run into this...Joan was having her annual holiday sale and joined forces with other talented artists to showcase their work. Joan's studio was full of goodies! I was only going to post a couple photos but I couldn't decide which ones, so here's a bunch. These are mud dauber tiles, part Joan...part mud dauber. That's Joan on the left.

Joan was kind enough to give us this tile......a mud dauber decided to decorate the back of it.
