Moving the beast again

I think I mentioned in a previous post that we'd never move our wood stove again…well, that was a lie. We decided to buy a larger piece of glass to go underneath the stove, which meant out with the old and in with the new! We were concerned that the old piece of glass was too small and that hot coals would fall out and harm our pretty floors, or worse, burn the house down. So we drew a freehand template and had Banner Glass cut a new one. Here's Todd cleaning the new piece as Willow supervises…Yes, it's big, but proportionally it works in the room. Luckily we had help moving the glass and the wood stove. Willy's friend Ken was in town from upstate NY and was kind enough to lend a hand. Here are a couple action shots...
