Men on stilts
Our drywall is all done and it looks great. We're convinced that the finishing guys hated working in our house. Sanding and mudding around all the posts and beams probably was not fun, especially when you get paid by the sheet. We tried to joke around with them about it but they were not amused and barely smiled. It took the two guys a couple days to do the mudding, then one day to sand. We still need to clean the frame since it's covered in a fine layer of dust but we'll wait until the floors are sanded to do that.

Wow! I'm impressed that you guys even attempted to sand the floors on your own! And so impressed that Todd has so much faith in you Erin! Sometimes, I will offer to help Ben do something on a project and he will just laugh!! We hired someone to finish our floors for us but it was only two rooms that are not very big so it wasn't too expensive. It is also funny how EVERYTHING takes at least twice as long as you think it will take! Good luck with the floors-I know you guys are anxious to move in.
