Shower work

Erin began preparing the master bath shower for the shower membrane. First, she mixed the thinset and applied a thin coat to the shower floor around the drain hole. The thinset will bond the mud layer to our reinforced subfloor. The next step will be to get the sloped mud down.Plumber Rob was out again working on running pipes in our frigid basement. He's doing a great job and will probably wrap things up next weekend.We ducked out a little early on Saturday afternoon and went to DC for dinner and a Béla Fleck concert at the Warner Theatre. Béla is a whiz on the banjo, truly incredible.
